What this is
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones our website uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy. "Cookies" here is shorthand for cookies and similar technologies such as local storage and pixels.
The short version
- We use a few cookies to make the site work.
- We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
- Our analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) is cookieless — it sets no analytics cookies at all.
- We do not run a cookie consent banner because no non-essential cookies are set on your device. You can clear any cookies directly in your browser settings.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your browser so the site can remember things between visits — for example, a preference you set, or whether you are in the middle of filling out a form. Cookies can be "first-party" (set by the website you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by another domain loaded by the page).
Cookies we use
We group cookies into categories based on what they do.
1. Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Site to function. We set these regardless of your choice because the site would not work without them.

2. Preference
These cookies remember display or UX choices you have made.

We consider this cookie first-party, non-tracking, and low-risk. We do not use it to profile you or share information with third parties. Whether it is "strictly necessary" or "preference" depends on how essential the chosen experience is to the site functioning; we treat it conservatively as a preference cookie.
3. Analytics
Our analytics does not use cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (provided by our hosting platform, Vercel) to understand aggregate traffic and page-load performance. Per Vercel, these tools identify visitors by a short-lived hash derived from the incoming request — not by cookies or local storage — and that hash is discarded within 24 hours. They store only anonymous, aggregated statistics and are not associated with your IP address or any individual. Because they set no cookies and store nothing on your device, they do not require cookie consent.
4. Marketing
We do not currently set marketing, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and update the cookie banner before we start.
How consent is collected
Because we do not run any non-essential cookies, you will not see a cookie consent banner. The only cookies set are the strictly necessary and preference cookies described above. Our analytics tools (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) are cookieless and set nothing on your device, so they do not change this. If we add analytics or any other technology that does set non-essential cookies in the future, we will introduce a consent banner at that time.
We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat that as a rejection of any non-essential cookies.
Clearing cookies
You can clear cookies directly in your browser's settings at any time. Our analytics is cookieless, so there is no analytics cookie to clear and no "Manage cookies" preference to change. If we add a technology that sets non-essential cookies or a consent banner in the future, a footer link will appear to let you update your choice.
Third-party cookies
At launch, we use only first-party cookies plus whatever minimal cookies our hosting/CDN provider sets to keep the Site online. Our analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) is cookieless and sets none. We do not embed third-party ad pixels or social-media share widgets that set tracking cookies.
If we add third-party cookies in the future, we will update this policy and the cookie banner before doing so.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common standard for how websites should respond to DNT, we do not act on it specifically. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal as described above.
Changes to this policy
We will update this Cookie Policy whenever we change the cookies we use or how we use them. Material changes will be announced for at least 30 days in the footer or via a banner. The "Effective date" and "Last updated" fields at the top will reflect the most recent version.
